I met Marcia at at craft show in Murfreesboro. 2017 has not been the best year for me as I lost my husband to a drug overdose. I had lost touch with my brothers for many years due to the fact that they hated what I was going through living with an addict. That year when my husband passed away my brothers were by my side from the moment I received the news from the police officers on my front porch. So that Christmas I was looking for something special to give them to thank them for all that they had done. That is when I came across Marcia’s table. I had found the special gift I wanted to give them but to make it more meaningful Marcia took my grandmothers old silverware to make the crosses. I chose the verse love is patient and kind. I wrote my brothers a letter to accompany their gift and had them open them at the same time. I have very rarely ever seen my two big brothers cry except at the loss of our dad but that Christmas when they received the cross it was a new beginning for my brothers and I. To say Marcia made the perfect gift that she did. I can not thank God enough for her and I crossing paths that day.

I had heard of Marcia Mort's silverware crosses as long as I have attended Grace Church of the Nazarene. I just now had her make one for me . The words I had heard were not adequate to describe the workmanship and detail she puts into them. My silverware cross is sitting on my bedroom table so it is the first thing I see when I awake in the morning . What a way to start the day!! One of my favorite Bible verses is inscribed on the knife and it reminds me that I am nothing without my Lord!. I believe these works of art would make a treasured gift.

I saw Marcia's work a couple years ago and loved it. I didn't buy anything, but this year I went to the same craft show and was determined to find her and buy at least one. She helped me find my favorite Bible verse. It' s hanging in my kitchen. Marcia was gracious enough to let me come to her house on Christmas Eve to purchase 4 more. I'm going to use one for a birthday present and one for a housewarming gift. I don't really want to give any of them up as they are all different and beautiful! These make great gifts for any occasions! Her work is very inspiring and encouraging!

Love Marcia's creations! I first met Marcia at a local Christmas artisan fair. She was repurposing men's neckties into Retie Belts and Neck Scarves/Necklaces. I was intrigued with her ability and her keen eye to detail so that the pattern directions of the ties remained original, with nothing askew or shifted in the patterns. I purchased a Christmas Retie Neck Scarf the night I met her, as I needed a reasonably priced unique gift. What also caught my eye was the silverware crosses mounted in shadowboxes. Marcia's shadowboxes were what I wanted to give for gifts for the upcoming year. Marcia provided the option with regard to the display shadow boxes the crosses are mounted on. Marcia also allowed me to select what I wanted engraved on the knife blade of the silverware cross, which was a favorite scripture. She, as the artist made it my gift as I wanted it. My entire order was ready much faster than I had anticipated. The quality of her work and material selections are impeccable. I am so pleased with Marcia's attention to detail in her work! Marcia is easy to interact with, she always communicates well with questions or additional information. The quality or her work indicates great pride in the items with her name on them. It is a pleasure to do business with an artisan of Marcia's caliber. Her gifts are unique and the shadowboxes are beautiful keepsakes for special occasions or every daydisplay. I am VERY PLEASED to give these gifts.

I received one of Marcia's Silverware Crosses as a Christmas gift from my daughter-in-law a couple of years ago and just love it. A few months later I ordered several for the next Christmas to give as presents. These also make great wedding gifts and everyone that has received one has asked for Marcia's information and how to order one.
Blessings,
